effective resilience planning, response and recovery.

We do this by:

  • Providing professional development activities for those who work in the resilience profession
  • Managing the National Exercise Programme for Scotland and supporting local exercises
  • Encouraging the sharing and application of good practice and lessons
  • Continually reviewing and improving what we do

We also assist the Scottish Government prepare for its role in supporting the response to emergencies.
